Thanks ariella for your valuable information on your site. I just read about being an unique singer and ideas for where one can perform. I am living here in Bloemfontein in south africa and take singing lessons and it looks like we start training for opera. I hope I still get good opportunities once I completed this training sure.
Charl
Good luck Charl,
I wish you the best on your singing endeavors! Thank you for reading my blogs!

Hello Ariella,
I bought the first CD just before Christmas. I began doing the exercises 4-5 times a week during my drive to work. Within the first week I was beginning to sing on key for the first time in my life. I have been working on it ever since and I can’t believe how good my voice sounds now. It only took 53 years.
Joes
Thanks Joe! Great to hear from you! (I am currently setting up a voice lesson with Joe who will be near me on a business trip next month! Looking forward to hearing you live

Hi Ariella. I am not a singer. I am a mother of a singer/performer who is 11 years old. I’d like to tell you that I started reading some of your blogs and really enjoyed them. Your kindness shows through. Thank you for a wonderful resource.
Thank you for your kind words. It takes a lot to be a mommy of a young singer. I remember how my parents had to sit through all the singing competitions I was in- so stressful.
Both my parents came to all my shows, encouraged all my auditions and performances. It meant so much to me to have my parents be my support system. They new when to step away from me when I was stressed and crazed before a performance and how to comfort me after the disappointments of rejection.
It really means so much to a performer to have a tight circle of support around them. The industry is very difficult and filled with many people who are not kind.
Keep protecting her!

Ariella, I just wanted to say Thank You for a great vocal instruction lesson on disc. I purchased the first disc on Ebay about 6 weeks ago, and I have to say I’ve progressed more using your lessons than any other I’ve used so far. Your simple, relevent instructions really do work and I can really tell that my range and technique improved! Between the vocal excersizes and the breathing development I can really feel the toning as an athlete would. So, Thank You again and good luck to YOU on all of your endevours, you are an angel.
Hi Jason,
Thank you for your kind words. I really love to hear back from people that are using my CDs. You are on the right track. These vocal exercises done well and built up over time without pushing or straining will strengthen you abilities as a singer. Happy to hear from you!

My dearest Ariella I purchased your series last year, after loosing my voice and my confidence to sing out in front of others. I have recently gained the top notes of my voice back again and although they are still a little wobbly at times my range had increased dramatically and i am singing in front of people again, much to the amazement of friends and family who never knew i could! Thank you for your wonderful program.
Yours Laura
Laura,
You have brightened my day. I made Voice Lessons To GO for people just like you who wanted to sing out. I hope you continue to build confidence in your singing. May I suggest pushing yourself further and going and doing some Karaoke or even taking an improvisational acting class? These are some great thing that can help you peel some more layers off of any public performing anxiety. Keep Singing!- Ariella

Hi Ariella, I just paid for “Your Vocal Assessment: Quick Insight” but I don’t know how to send you my song and my questions. How do I do it? Thanks, Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your order. I am looking forward to hearing you sing. You need to send me a link to your voice, an mp3, or perhaps a link to you singing on youtube. Remember to include your questions as well in the email. I will get right back to you with your assessment!- Ariella Vacacrino

Hi Ariella,
Are you in New york and if so how can i get in touch with you?
Hi,
No, I am based in Los Angeles. I teach private lessons and love to listen to and work with new voices. The other option I can offer you is studying with me through my Vocal Assessment program. You send me a link or mp3 of your voice with your questions and I can help you through that means.
Thanks!- Ariella

Last night I downloaded volume 1 on iTunes and I am very excited to fulfill this life-long dream. However, I hope that I don’t have to be standing to practice. I want to train during my commute; I can’t sing at home because I want to surprise my wife with a personal concert for her birthday. Will sitting while I practice hinder my progress?- Hector
Hector,
So glad to hear you are going to be singing for your wife. Standing is optimum for singing but second best is sitting straight and strong in your chair- no slouching.
That is often how choirs rehearse. Good luck with it all!
